Exploring the idea of "single-use" AR
AR Effects are generally designed to be shared and used at scale.
But what if we treat AR Effects more like props or costumes to be used by one performer?
Can we unlock a new use case for AR that encourages a new kind of creativity?
I've created a series of single-use AR Effects that are not meant to be shared.
These effects treat AR elements as part of a story being told in video.
Beyond a face filter or an effect made to transform appearance, these effects are built to transform a narrative.
The potential for AR is much broader than any one use-case, and as AR tech evolves to include headsets and other devices, the creative community needs to embrace a broader set of effects.
